time?

whats that? hahah! i stay so busy all the time between working a full time job, being a wife and a mama to 5 animals... if you have kids, you get the point. so time to blog is hard to fit in, because so much goes into writing a post... id rather write a post with photos than without, i feel like its a little less boring that way, but i dont always have time to edit the photos before hand, so some of my posts come out photo less... and thats just not really how i want to roll with my bog. wow! i just totally rambled... so anyhow, for now i guess youll have to just be happy with one or two posts a week, including photos or not, and ill have to figure out how to create time :)
for now though, check out my new bag that i got!!! i love it! its from http://www.dungareedolly.com dolly bags are adorable!!! they are a little on the pricey side, but you are def paying for quality! all of her bags are hand made, she has tons of different fabrics to choose from! im def going to get a few more dif style bags from her!

also, excuse the poor photography, i am much better than that, but for this quick post i choose my crappy camera, which i shall not do again:)

easy like monday morning

morning all! its the start of my weekend! ahhhhhhh! i looooooooove my weekends! even if i do nothing, which, lets face it, happens not very often, i still enjoy them! they are just all around great days! except for the time that i got sick over my weekend, i enjoyed nothing abut those 2 days off...

so, how is everyone this fine monday? ive got some fun plans for today! brunch with some friends, and dinner later tonight with the same friends! dinner OUT OF TOWN!!!! its so much more exciting to dine out of town than it is to dine in your own town. why is that? have food? will travel!

so i want to start a new post for mondays... im calling it the MONDAY POLL for now, until i come up with a better name, suggest if you come up with something better... basically its going to be a list of questions about you... mood, etc... i will answer and you comment below and answer as well. seems fun right? so here goes...

1.mood~ chipper, its my day off, im always chipper on my days off

3. morning coffee or tea~ usually coffee, very seldom tea, it just doesnt give me the same effect

getting back to simpler times

i remember the days! the days before myspace, twitter, facebook... the days before you could take that all along with you, the days before the iphone and androids. the days when cleaning out my truck and going to the gym were things i did because i was bored. the days when watching movies was just that, watching movies. not checking in to tell everyone that im watching a movie, and then updating through out the whole damn thing that i am in fact enjoying said movie... uhhhhhgggg! STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!

these days i find myself wanting to interact socially through the interweb rather than in real life! that is just insane!!! dont get me wrong! i love social networking!!! i have made awesome friends from across the country through twitter who if we lived closer would probably be wonderful friends! but, it has become too much to handle! so i am disconnecting! im deactivating my facebook and twitter! im ready to sit down and actually WATCH a show or movie. im ready to not tell everyone in the interweb that im checking in at disneyland... im ready to live my life, and... LIVE!

also since i wont be updating my status in 140 characters or less and telling everyone what im doing via FB ill actually have a lot more time and energy to blog!!! so expect more from me here!!! so off i go... to get back to simpler times... xoxoxoxo kilauni

belle blossom of the month for june and july

hi friends! i know my posts are few and far between these days. and pretty sparatic, but bare with me,,, im doing alot of soul searching right now. trying to figure out what i really like... i wont bore you with the details, but all is well and im a happy girl! now on for todays post!

back in may i signed up for the belle blossom of the month club. belle blossom is a company that sells retro and vintage inspired hair pieces you can check them out at  http://www.belleblossoms.com/ it costs $12.95 a month and they send you a different hair flower each month. i love companys that put a little extra thought into their packaging, its nice when you get something in the mail, even if you paid for it, and if it wrapped like a present, you feel like you just bought yourself a present... anyway, ill show you what i mean...

this was the blossom of the month for june, it is a poppy. cute huh?

the july blossom is a orchid. every blossom also comes with a cute little card that gives you a description of the flower... another nice little touch.

over all i am so far pleased with the belle blossom of the month club, ive only received 2 shipments, but, id say im hooked!!!

well, ive got a ton of posts lined up, its just making the time to post them thats the issue right now... i hope you all stick around :)

birthday week... part 2

the day after my birthday i went to lunch with my friend susanna! she took me to bjs and i had my fav... mini buffalo chicken pizza! i love seeing her, which doesnt happen very often. that night my neighbor made me dinner and we made smores with her daughters! it was a great treat!

dinner was chipotle shrimp salad made by my neighbor jessica! it was amazing!!!

kaitlyn and i made smores! i have the hugest love for smores!! i ate about 6! waaaay to many!!!

the next day was friday... my 4 year anniversary of being married to my best friend! 6 years together!!!

to celebrate i bought us tickets to go see one of our favorite bands... DEFTONES... live in Hollywood at the palladium!!!

 it was an AMAZING SHOW!!!! def one of the best we have seen!!! chino moreno is absolutely brilliant on stage!!!

the next day we went to the ink n iron festival at the queen mary in long beach... i was super excited to go!!!

when we got there we had to stand in an hour and a half line just to buy the tickets, which were $40 a person!!! once we got in and walked around, i was not impressed! i mean, dont get me wrong, it was cool and all! vendors, artists, people who love pin up and vintage fashion... but not worth $80 i dont think...

the old cars and vintage motorcycles were awesome! all in all i had an amazing birthday week!!!! 

Birthday week... part one

first of all, let me apologize for not blogging in like forever!!! so much always going on around here!!! my birthday was earlier this month, and  i had a fabulous week off of work and filled with fun activities!

first i went to disneyland with my friend sarah

we had a blast and she took me to dinner at the blue bayou, the ride you see inside pirates of the Caribbean... it was delicious!

one my birthday i went to glen ivy hot springs spa for my free day with some of my friends and eriks grandmother. we had ton of fun!

after the day spa we went out for dinner at my favorite sushi restaurant O.N.E sushi. i had a huge group of friends come... the food was amazing. and the company was fabulous! 

bunny was late to dinner, but he had good reasons, he had my friend make me 32 mini cupcakes for my 32nd birthday!!! 

so cute right??? the entire day was just amazing!!!! i got some great gifts!

my neighbor got me my very first ever apron!!! i love it! its super cute!!! 

sweets was the gift of the night! my friend mike made me homemade oatmeal white raisin cookies! and my friend mandy brought me a dozen cake pops.... my first encounter with cake pops, im in love!

my friend gayle brought me this beautiful flower arrangement! I love it! 

my dad bought me this beautiful jewelery chest off of my amazon wish list!!

i got this awesome photobook from my friend danielle! 

i also got some gift cards ;) 

i had an absolutely fabulous birthday! thanks to everyone who made it great!!!!!
