hello everyone! its wedsnesday! that means its half way through the week! woooo hooooo! we just got back from a quick one day trip to las vegas!!! we went out for a friends birthday to surprise him, and her was surprised! he had no idea we were coming!!! 

first we started out by going to see the BODIES exhibit at the luxor! it was so cool to see what your body really looks like inside! did you know there are 1000,000 miles of veins in our bodies? fact!

oddly enough after seeing the bodies exhibit the hubs and i were famished, we hadnt eaten since early in the morning, but didnt want to eat too much before dinner, so we stopped for a snack at the burger bar.

we ordered sliders and a fry sampler

we each had a slider and fries, here were sweet potato fries, zucchini fries, and onion rings. the onion rings were my favorite!

we all also had one of these amazing alcholic milk shakes! DANGER! BUT OH SO GOOD!!!

after out snack, which we filled up on, we decided to go do some shopping at a fancy outdoor mall, the hubs was in the market for some new shoes.

he also scored a new shirt, that he wore to dinner.

for dinner we were going to a cool place we had never been to before

this place was awesome! it was all you can eat, fancy dancy all you can eat! you start out with a salad bar, then when you are ready they just start bringing out different types of meat on giant skewers, they ask if you want it, and carve it for you right there at your table! SO MUCH MEAT! SO MANY CHOICES!!!! we probably had about 10 different types of meat! it was a dream come true for me! hahah! im a carnivore!

after dinner we went and checked into our hotel room at the orleans... we also stopped off and pick up some beverages

these are our neighbors, this is the birthday  boy... we had such a great time with them!

after having some drinks in our hotel room it was time to hit the strip!

we found out that some of our other friends were also in vegas for a birthday so we went to the aria hotel to meet up with them.

we saw our friend randy... the hubs was so happy!

these are two of my birthday girl friends... happy 21st!!!

all and all we had an amazing time! it went by so fast thought! i def want to go back soon and stay for a few days!!! no sin this time!

sunday morning

good morning all! what a week it has been! super busy at work! tons going on, shows every night, celebrity sightings... just crazy! i hope you all had a fantastic week! this is supposed to be my friday, but i took today off! why you ask?  because we leave bright and early tomorrow morning for... VEGAS! woooooooo! its our friends birthday and we are driving out to surprise and celebrate with one of our favorite couples! im so excited!!! so today i do laundry and clean the house to ensure i wont need to do it when i get home :)

i just want to take a moment to send some positive thoughts to our friends on the east coast, hurricane irene is making her way thorough the region, its been downgraded to a tropical storm, but those are powerful none the less, so lets just send some happy thoughts their way! we love you east coast! hand in there!!!

august belle blossom of the month...

 i absolutely love the belle blossom of the month club! this months blossom was the hibiscus, its beautiful!!! and i especially love how they come packaged!!!

 

 

also, i stopped by my friend Danielle's house today and she made these amazing cupcakes! key lime with cream cheese Cayenne frosting! i devoured mine!

dyeing...

good afternoon! so yesterday i went across the street to my friend lucky's to get my hair done. lucky is going to cosmetology school and wanted to get some practice time in, and ive been dyeing to color my hair, so i trusted her to do the job. and boy am i glad that i did!

 and this is me after... i LOVE IT!!!

it was a lot of work and took all day, but it was totally worth it and i thank lucky so much!!!

manic panic!

morning all! its the start of my weekend again! not much planned this weekend. going to get a little something done to my hair today... WAIT TILL YOU SEE IT!!!! the hubs is off golfing ive got a little cleaning to do, and thats about it! keeping it low key this week since we will be in VEGAS next weekend! yesssss! love me some vegas! anyway, on to our monday poll...

time?

whats that? hahah! i stay so busy all the time between working a full time job, being a wife and a mama to 5 animals... if you have kids, you get the point. so time to blog is hard to fit in, because so much goes into writing a post... id rather write a post with photos than without, i feel like its a little less boring that way, but i dont always have time to edit the photos before hand, so some of my posts come out photo less... and thats just not really how i want to roll with my bog. wow! i just totally rambled... so anyhow, for now i guess youll have to just be happy with one or two posts a week, including photos or not, and ill have to figure out how to create time :)
for now though, check out my new bag that i got!!! i love it! its from http://www.dungareedolly.com dolly bags are adorable!!! they are a little on the pricey side, but you are def paying for quality! all of her bags are hand made, she has tons of different fabrics to choose from! im def going to get a few more dif style bags from her!

also, excuse the poor photography, i am much better than that, but for this quick post i choose my crappy camera, which i shall not do again:)
